Catharine is a self taught linocut printmaker inspired by big skies, light, mark making and simple moments. I use a variety of printmaking techniques to tell visual stories about the world all around me, and to convey my own sense of wonder at the whole thing. I work from my home studio in Catton, near Allendale in Northumberland.
