Nancy Friedland is a painter investigating narrative, the family album, landscape and light in her work. After moving away from her roots in photography, Friedland began exploring these preoccupations through paint.

James Needham
May 8th - June 8th 2026
James Needham was born in Rugby, England in 1983 and currently lives in Scotland, after a long spell in Australia. He studied at the Oxfordshire College of Art in the UK, graduating with a Diploma in General Art & Design in 2002 and received a Bachelor of Fine Art from Sydney’s National Art School in 2018.

Rose is an archaeologist and artist based in North Yorkshire. Her work often explores the relationship between people and landscape through time.

Receiving nationwide recognition of her work Harris was recently a finalist for the Museums Association Decolonisation Award 2023 for her ‘Black Lancastrians’ Exhibition at Judges’ Lodgings Museum in Lancaster and awarded Runner Up in the V&A Illustration Awards 2022 Book Cover Category for her work on the first illustrated edition of ‘The Color Purple’ by Alice Walker, published by the Folio Society. Harris’ work resides in private collections around the world and has been acquired by several public collections including Abbot Hall Gallery, Kendal; Judges’ Lodgings Museum, Lancaster and Lancaster University.
