I trained at Chelsea School of Art and then studied Fashion and Printed Textiles (BH Hons) at Brighton University.

I draw on my past experience as a textile designer searching for incidental patterns and using a limited colour palette to simplify and stylise images. My work is an exploration of the female form captured in intimate scenes from my personal experience. I use the medium of watercolour to create an etherial softness in the imagery, often blocking out the background with more solid acrylic paint, to form dynamic edges between the figure and its setting.
